Interview with God

I dreamed I had an interview with God

So you would like to interview with me?” GOD asked.

if you have the time” I said.

GOD smiled.

My time is eternity

what questions do you have in mind for me?”

What surprises you most about humankind?”

GOD answered

That they get bored with childhood,

they rush to grow up,

and then long to be children again.”

That they lose their health to make money

and then lose their money to restore their health.”

That by thinking anxiously about the future,

they forget the present,

such that they live in neither the present nor the future.”

That they live as if they will never die,

and die as though they had never lived.”

GOD’s hand took mine

And we were silent for a while.

ways of the motivation to study English

It seems reasonable firstly to motivate students in the class and next to keep them motivated throughout the class or course.Of course there's nothing worse than going in class full of people who don't realy want to be there.However,children and teenagers often don't make their own desition to attend the English class and they are obligated either by their parents or school to do so.

It is accepted for most of learning that motivation is essential to success.

Motivation is an unconscious,psychological process that varies by individual over time.It is a social process which can be affected by past experiences and environment.

      A cognitive view of motivation include factors such as   the need for exploration,activity,stimulation,new knowledge,and ego enchancement.The motivation that brings students to the task of learning English can affected an influenced by the attitude of number of people such as ; the society we live,significant others,the teacher,the method,and etc.There is some ideas which may go some ways towards increasing motivation levels in agroup or at least addressing the problems and bringing them out into the open.

Start charts and effort charts

Draw up chart with students' names down one side and at end of each class mark a smiley face or an A,B,C or D fot effort.Introduce the idea at the beginning of the class and explain your marking system.

Start goals

Find out ,and think of ways of achieving those together.Try to negotiate some realistic goals with he group.

Progress markers

By this I mean gather some evidence of level by keeping a piece of written work,recording them on tape or keeping the results of a test.Usually this helps students to 'see' their improvement in a more tangible way.

Questionnaries

Designing a question about the student's attitude towards English may be a nice way to bring their feeling out into the open.

Feedback sheets

Asking for feedback on your classes be a daunting thought!Remember that you will never please all your students all the time!

Personalize

Find out what your students are into and base your lesson around their interest.personalizing classes also about giving the students to find out about you.If you haven't already ,bring in some photos of friends and family from home to show them.Most students will be fascinated.
